Starting March 1, 2025, nationals of Poland, Switzerland, and Czechia can travel to Vietnam visa-free for up to 45 days, promoting tourism. The measure will remain effective until December 31, 2025, and applies to tourists meeting legal entry requirements.
Vietnam already offers visa-free entry for 45 days to citizens of Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the UK, Russia, and Belarus.
In contrast, Vietnamese nationals still require Schengen visas to visit EU countries, with France, Germany, and Italy being the top destinations for Vietnamese applications.
