Documents Required for Portugal Visa Application

Application Form
This has to be filled in English or Portuguese, make sure it’s typed
Passport Size Photo
A passport-sized photo with a white background, taken in the last 6 months.

Original passport and a copy valid for at least 3 months beyond your departure date from the Schengen area.
It must have at least 2 blank pages.
UAE Residence Visa
A copy of your valid UAE residence visa, which must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended departure date.
Travel Insurance
Insurance policy covering the entire Schengen area with a minimum of €30,000 for medical expenses, repatriation, or emergencies.
Sponsor’s Letter (NOC)
For employees:
- Original letter on the company’s letterhead mentioning job details, leave dates, and purpose of the visit.
- Must be dated within 1 month and stamped.
For business owners or self-employed:
- Original commercial trade license authenticated by UAE MoFA.
- NOC signed by authorized company representatives.
Details About Accommodation:
Flight reservation including return ticket.
Hotel booking, rental agreement, or proof of property ownership.
Official invitation letter (Termo de responsabilidade) certified by a public notary in Portugal.
Financial Proof:
Signed and stamped personal UAE bank statements for the last 3 months.
If the trip is sponsored, the sponsor’s original bank statement and a signed letter confirming sponsorship.
For Minors (Under 18):
Birth certificate or proof of legal guardianship (translated into English or Portuguese).
Copies of passports and UAE residence visas of both parents/legal guardians.
If traveling without parents/legal guardians, a signed authorization in front of a visa officer is required.
How to Apply for a Portugal Visa For UAE Residents
