Several Schengen Visa Application Centers Closed Until Further Notice

Several Schengen visa application centres operated by VFS Global are currently closed for new visa submissions until further notice, affecting travellers planning to apply for visas to multiple European countries.

The affected centres are accepting passport collection only during this period.

Countries currently impacted include Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Portugal, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy, and Finland.

Applicants who have already submitted their documents can still collect their passports. During Ramadan, passport collection timings are Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Meanwhile, a limited number of visa centres remain operational and continue to accept new applications. These include centres processing visas for France, Croatia, Belgium, and long-term visas for Malta.

Travellers planning to apply for a Schengen visa are advised to check the latest operational status of their respective visa centres before visiting to avoid disruptions or delays.
