Student Visa Requirements
Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
- The Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is an electronic document from a UK university that you need for your UK Student Visa. It has a unique number and shows your course details and fees. The CAS confirms the university has accepted you, and UKVI uses it to check your offer when you apply.
Financial Proof
- To prove your funds for a UK student visa, show that you have enough money to cover your first-year tuition and living costs.
English Language Requirement
- You must prove your English level through IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, or any test accepted by your university; unless you are exempt. The student does not need to meet the language requirement if they studied in English before and achieved the minimum English score required by the university.
Valid Passport
- Submit clear copies of your passport's personal details page and all pages that show your previous travel history.
Biometrics
- You must visit a visa application centre to give your fingerprints and photograph.
Additional Documents (if required)
- ATAS Certificate: If you study certain science or research subjects, you may need an ATAS clearance certificate.
- TB Test Certificate: This requirement applies only to certain nationalities and to applicants who have stayed in countries with a high risk of tuberculosis (TB) for 6 months or longer in the 6 months before applying.
- Parental Consent: If you are 16 or 17 years old, your parents or guardian must provide written consent.
- Sponsor Letter: If someone sponsors your studies, you must show their sponsorship letter.
