Citizens of Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Malta, and Romania will be allowed to enter China without a visa.
This will allow up to 30 days stay, for business, tourism, and visiting friends and family.
China’s trial visa-free entry for EU visitors will end on December 31, 2025. If successful in boosting tourism, the policy may be extended.
To attract more visitors, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided the current 15-day visa-free stay will be doubled to 30 days starting on November 30, 2024.
